“The divine Mind, which forms the bud and blossom, will care for the human body, even as it clothes the lily; ...”

What can we do?
“What can we do to work God’s work, To prosper and increase the brotherhood of all mankind . . . ?” as the popular hymn goes (CS Hymnal, No. 82:2). How about praying, learning, networking, and “daily deeds!” In this part of our website, we hope to share ways to lend a “helping hand,” meeting simple needs. If you volunteered to help others in your church community, what would you need - a little training, mentoring, knowing what to do or who to contact, or some particular skills? Most of our information on ways to pray can be found under “Resources.” This page contains links to other practical steps that can be employed in your care ministry.

Simple Needs Ministry
The call to care begins with the prayer of compassion - “Let me be used by Love.” Then, we listen, in prayer, for God’s guidance on the “right use of temporary and eternal means.” Next, we do “what is nearest right under the circumstances.”
The “Simple Needs Ministry” is a list of simple needs in which you might have an interest and which could greatly benefit others. Knowing all along that God is guiding us to where we can be used by Love.
